  1. Critically analyze the intersection of gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, class, ability, and age to understand how these factors shape individuals' experiences and opportunities in society.
  2. Develop practical skills for advocating social change by engaging in meaningful collaborations with campus and community organizations dedicated to advancing gender equity and gender-based social justice.
  3. Document and recall the social, political, cultural, and economic legacies of diverse gender communities, encompassing LGBTQ+ individuals, women, and non-binary and gender-diverse people, in the United States.
  4. Identify and articulate the lived experiences of historically marginalized gender communities, recognizing the unique challenges and contributions of LGBTQ+, women, and non-binary and gender-diverse individuals.
  5. Interpret primary and secondary sources employing theories and concepts from the interdisciplinary field of Gender and Feminist Studies to gain insight into the complexities of gender and identity.
