SKILLS LAB I: BASIC CARE, ADULT, PERIOPERATIVE, MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION
Provides an opportunity for supervised practice of basic nursing skills in a simulated clinical setting. Applies theoretical concepts and nursing skills to steps in the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementing, evaluation and documentation. Emphasizes meeting critical elements of hands-on skills, practicing a consistent method of medication administration and implementing accurate documentation.
