SKILLS LAB I: BASIC CARE, ADULT, MOTHER/BABY, MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION
Provides opportunity for supervised practice of basic nursing skills in a simulated clinical setting. During their practice, students apply relationships between theory concepts and nursing skills relevant to steps in the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementing, evaluations and documentation. Emphasis is placed on practicing a consistent method of medication administration. Students demonstrate competent skill performance in a simulated clinical setting. Corequisites: LVN 101 and LVN 101A and LVN 101B. (Formerly LVN1B)
